Mayor Adam Lordon, assisted by the community and Premier Susan Holt, raised the Pride Flag in Queen Elizabeth on June 17th, 2025.  This is Pride Month. 

Lordon said the flag symbolizes the value of each citizen, and he said they are welcomed here no matter who they love.  Premier Holt congratulated Lordon on his ten years of leadership and said she was happy to participate in the event. 

Lordon also mentioned former MLA and Councllor Lisa Harris who was one of the first politicians to promote the the flag raising.
