The death of Mark Twaine Mitchell, of Esgenoôpetitj, NB, occurred on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at the age of 48. Born in Newcastle, NB, he is the son of Mary Elizabeth (Johnson) Mitchell and the late Roger Mitchell. Mark worked at the Baie Chaleur Fish Plant and enjoyed playing poker online and listening to music. 

Mark is survived by daughters: Faith Augustine of Esgenoôpetitj, NB; Tylishia Mitchell of Tracadie, NB; Tyla Swasson of Campbellton, NB; son: Roger Augustine of Esgenoôpetitj, NB; sisters: Rhonda Mitchell (Ronald); Tricia St. Coeur all of Esgenoôpetitj, NB; brothers: Howard; Ralph (Shannon), Vernon (Bernadette); David (Lynn) all of Esgenoôpetitj, NB; grandsons: Aaron and Jayce Mitchell Thibodeau; godchildren, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides his father, Mark is predeceased by sisters: Loretta Dedam and Valerie Savoie; brothers: Larry Mitchell and Laurie Mitchell.
