The death of Marion (Augustine) Sappier, of Metepenagiag, NB, occurred on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 76. Born in Newcastle, NB, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Metallic) Augustine. 

Marion is survived by daughter: April Richardson (Kyle) of South Esk, NB; sons: Nathan Augustine (Susie) of Metepenagiag, NB, Mackenzie Sappier (Madonna) of L'nui Menikuk First Nation, NB; daughter in law: Megan of Neqotkuk, NB; grandchildren: Kipp, Ben, Macey, Hannah, Jaida, Mya, Destiny, Ezra, Nova, Ezekial, Gracie, Selena; sisters: Elizabeth Powell (late Barry) of Metepenagiag, NB, Annie Mae Morrison (late Norman) of Metepenagiag, NB; brothers: Robert (late Gertude) of Warren, Maine, Howard of Metepenagiag, NB; as well as many nieces and nephews. 

Marion is predeceased by son: Gary Sappier Jr; sisters: Madeline, Dixon Metallic; brothers: Aloysius “Allie” (late Monica), Willie John (late Susan).
