Marion Ruth Fowlie of Little Branch Road, Black River Bridge, NB, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on September 29, 2024, at the age of 76.
Born in Black River Bridge, NB, on November 26, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Bessie (Chapman) Adams.
Marion was more than just a Wife, Mother, and Grandmother, although she thrived in each of these roles. She was a kind-hearted, caring and thoughtful woman, with an amazing talent for cooking, baking, and giving all of her love to the people that surrounded her. Anyone that met Marion knew her as “the sweetest woman they’d ever met.” She welcomed everyone with a smile and loved a good chat with a friend, especially on Saturdays when she went to yard sales. When she was able, she loved to go for a walk to feed the rabbits and cats at the barn. The people who knew her can attest to the fact that she was the most loving, and most hospitable woman, and she spent her days quietly watching her grandchildren grow, which she loved to do most of all. If you knew her, you knew her kitties were almost as important to her, and she was diligent in her care for them as well. Nanny, you will always stay in our hearts, and we can't imagine this world without you, but we are honoured to lay you to rest in eternal peace. We love you!
Marion is survived by her sons, Randy Fowlie, and Jamie Fowlie (Cindy), both of Black River Bridge, NB; brothers: Blaine Adams (Nancy) of Quispamsis, NB, and Merl Chapman (Jerry) of Mississauga, ON; six grandchildren: Sam (Jerica) Fowlie, Brooke Fowlie, Hogan Fowlie, Ruby Fowlie, Raya Fowlie, and Hudson Fowlie; step-grandchildren: Trinity Evenden, Charlie Evenden Jr., and Byron Evenden; and great-granddaughter, Madison Fowlie. She was predeceased by her parents; and husband, Neil Fowlie. ...
