It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marc Rene Mazerolle, who passed away suddenly in his home on January 24th, 2025.
Born on June 27th, 1963, in Chatham, New Brunswick, Marc was the only boy of four children.
Marc had a deep love for his two sons, Jesse and Sam.
He was a loving step-father to Malakai, and a foster father to Hannah, who has two children, Maverick and Branson.
In addition to his children, he is survived by his loving, long-time partner, Jo-Ann, his mother, Hannelore Mazerolle, his sisters, Brigitte Daigle (Paul), Patricia Durelle (Roberto) and Christiane Clinch (Jeff), his in-laws Donald and Jocelyne Bourgoin, his brother-in-law Anthony Bourgoin (Martine), the mother of his children Sonia Mazerolle (David) and several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
Sadly, he was predeceased by his father, Jerry Mazerolle.
Marc had a passion for motorcycles and classic cars and could often be found watching car shows on repeat. He loved going for rides on his Harley Davidson motorbike. He also was an avid collector of Hot Wheels that he proudly displayed in his classroom.
Another love he had was for his job as a teacher. He taught at many schools throughout his career with his most recent being at Wabanaki School in Moncton. As a teacher, he was proud to have founded The Bike Klub, which allowed him to share his love for building motorcycles with his students. He was loved by many students and co-workers and he will be deeply missed by all.
A service to celebrate Marc’s life will take place on Thursday, January 30th at 6:00 pm from the Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Rd. Moncton, NB (506-858-1995).
A reception will follow the service, where the family invites you to join them to continue to share memories of Marc’s life.
