Lorne Angus Mitchell MacLean

Lorne Angus Mitchell MacLean of Hamilton, Ontario, passed away at Gracevilla, Hamilton, Ontario, on January 29, 2025, at the age of 77.

Born in Napan, New Brunswick, on May 31, 1947, he was the son of the late Mitchell and Eliza (Blakely) MacLean.  He was a Carpenter by trade throughout his working life.

Lorne is survived by his children, Tanya MacLean (Darren MacDonald), and Christopher MacLean (Cindy), both of Miramichi, New Brunswick; sister, Edna Boutillier of Fredericton, New Brunswick; his grandchildren:  Mandy, Cameron, Erika, and Ashton; as well as many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents, and his siblings:  Agnes, Ruby, Bliss, Colin, Yvonne, and George.

A graveside service will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery, Miramichi, New Brunswick, later in the spring.  Date and time to be announced.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Miramichi SPCA or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
