John Cecil Jardine, of Barnettville, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at the age of 71.

Born in Barnettville, he was the son of the late David and Beatrice (Curtis) Jardine. He was a truck driver and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also loved his squirrels, ford trucks, listening to old music, scratching scratch tickets, and playing bingo and cards.

He will be greatly missed by his wife Pauline (Warren) Jardine of Barnettville; his children April Jardine (Mark Strugeon) of White Rapids, Wanda Jardine (Michael Jardine) of Lockstead, and Colby Jardine of Barnettville; two sisters Myrna McCully (Curtis) of Barnettville and Marie Burke (Roy) of Lepreau; three brothers Lloyd Jardine, Paul Jardine (Nancy), and Lyle Jardine all of Barnettville; sister-in-law Iris Corney of Blackville; five grandchildren Payten, Brady, Layne, Ashton, and Wilson; a great grandchild-to-be; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his infant brother Marshall, and his brother Peter Jardine.
