With profound sadness and broken hearts, we announce the passing of Jennifer “Jennie” Delores Fisher on November 10, 2024, at the age of 92, at Percy’s Place, Miramichi, New Brunswick.

Born on October 19, 1932, in Montreal, Quebec, Jennifer “Jennie” Delores Fisher was the daughter of the late Angus and Jeanne Séguin. 

Jennie is survived by her dearly loved husband, Barrie Fisher of 42 years; niece, Cynthia Leaver of Ottawa, ON; as well as by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

Jennie was predeceased by her parents; two sisters:  Perry Leaver, and Terry Sherman; and brother, Gerry Séguin.  She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. 

Jennie was a Medical Secretary and Legal Secretary by profession, and spoke fluent English, French, and Spanish.  She travelled the world extensively working in Africa, France, Japan, British Columbia, and Montreal, Quebec.  She was a beautiful Artist, and many of her paintings adorn her home today. 

Barrie and Jennie moved from Montreal in 2001, and over the 23 years at Miramichi Retirement Village they made many friends, and in her younger years enjoyed ...
