Harry Black

The death of Harry Hugh Black Sr., of Miramichi, NB, occurred on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 78. Born in Holtville, NB, he was the son of the late Hugh and Elizabeth (Spencer) Black. Harry was an electrician, business owner and a member of the Miramichi Masons Club.

Harry is survived by daughters: Marylou Black of Douglastown, NB, Pauline Black of Riverview, NB; son: Stuart Black (Lisa) of Moncton, NB; sisters: Susan Connell (Kenneth) of Fredericton, NB; brother: Ricky Black (Carol) of Miramichi, NB; grandchildren: Jacob Black, Kyle McKenzie, Haley MacDonald; as well as many nieces and nephews. 

Besides his parents, he is predeceased by son: Harry Jr; brothers: Randy and Stevie. 

Following Harry’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service will be held at St. Mark’s United Cemetery later in the spring.
