Etta Frances McCallum, RN, of Miramichi, NB, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on October 6, 2024, at the age of 91.
Born in Douglasfield, NB, on August 25, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mildred (Gerish) Trevors. Etta was a Registered Nurse who worked in the ER Department at the Newcastle Hospital, and then retired from the Miramichi Regional Hospital. She was a member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church.
Etta is survived by her husband, George McCallum; two daughters: Sharon McFarlane (Clayton) of Fort McMurray, AB, and Sandra Stewart (Kevin) of Ennismore, ON; two sons: James McCallum, and Trevor McCallum (Angie) of Miramichi; one sister, Gloria Heiduk (Larry) of Huntsville, ON; eight grandchildren: Shanna, Brittni, Rachel, Erika, Emily, Lindsey, Kendra, and Isabella; six great-grandchildren: Kinnon, Kyah, Tristan, Lydia, Caleb, and Myles; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; sister, Lillian; brothers: Benson, Herb, Theodore, Owen, and Gary. ...
