Donna Maria (Boucher) Bowie of Oak Point, NB, passed away at Percy’s Place on October 4, 2024, at the age of 69 after a long battle with cancer.

Born in Halifax, NS, on August 27, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Johanna (Asprey) Boucher. She was Catholic by faith.

Donna is survived by her husband, James Bowie; one daughter, Debra Boucher (Daniel Myles) of Halifax, NS; three grandchildren: Jaelyn, Naomi and Jehson (Emma Malcolm); three sisters: Rosanna MacIntyre (Tony), Lynn Boucher and Theresa Boucher all of Halifax, NS; as well as sister-in-law, Loreen Boucher of Halifax, NS; four aunts and one uncle, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and brother/sister’s in-law in NB. She was predeceased by her parents, brother, Eddie Boucher and sister, Valerie Boucher as well as numerous aunts and uncles.

The family is so grateful for her best friend (and cousin), Dorothy Doucette of London ONT, and her Aunt Marg of Halifax. They both had a wonderful bond and friendship with Donna and meant so much to her.

Donna spent many years as a hard-workingwoman at many jobs.  She loved knitting, crafts, cooking, and baking. She had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. She had the greatest sense of humor and gave the best advice.
