It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mom Dianne Marie (McLaughlin) Ramsay, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 80 peacefully with her family by her side. Dianne was a resident of Losier Hall and formerly of Newcastle, NB, wife of the late John “Jack” Ramsay. Born in Chatham, NB, she was the daughter of the late Frank “Cuffy” and Jean (Nash) McLaughlin. Dianne worked as a cook at various restaurants over the years before retiring from The Goodie Shop Restaurant. Dianne was the President of the Resident Council at Losier Hall and was a former member of the Newcastle Senior Citizen’s Friendship Club and Newcastle Senior Bowling League.

Dianne is survived by her children: Gordon Ramsay (Ann) of Stratford, PEI; Christine Villeneuve (Andre) of Miramichi, NB; Jackie Robichaud (Roland) of Bellefond, NB; Cindy Ramsay (Jeff Inkpen) of Halcomb, NB; siblings: Barbara Cook (late Pat Cook); Greg McLaughlin (Debbie Harper); Margaret McLaughlin all of Miramichi, NB; sisters-in-law: Janet McLaughlin and Edith McLaughlin both of Miramichi, NB; Barb LeBlanc of Moncton, NB; grandchildren: Ricky Mather, Lyndsay Mather, Diane Ramsay, David Ramsay, Elizabeth Lutze-Wallace, Alecia Robichaud, Alex Robichaud and Ashley Robichaud; great grandchildren: Wilhemina and Gwendolyn as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, Dianne is predeceased by siblings: Richard “Cuffy” McLaughlin, Blair McLaughlin, Ian McLaughlin and Mary McLaughlin.
