The death of Diana Betty Brown, wife of the late Jimmy Brown, occurred on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 76. Born in Lewisporte, NL, she was the daughter of the late Augustus and LouLou (Russell) Martin. 

Diana is survived by sons: Kevin Whitt (Sandra) of Miramichi, NB, Steven Whitt (Dee) of Acadiaville, NB; grandchildren: Dylan Whitt, Shaylin, Jared Whitt, Trish (Dean), Michelle, Shelby Adams, Matthew Adams, Jimmy Greig, Jessie Bjurstrom; great grandchildren: Nikkita, Brooklyn, Marques, Lily, Cora, Kyron, Shay, and baby Adams who is on their way; sister: Joan Rideout (Wes) of Lewisporte, NL; brothers: Bill (Audrey) and Ray (Kay) both of Lewisporte, NL; as well as many nieces and nephews. 

Diana is predeceased by her first husband: Hedley Whitt; brothers: Dan and Harry; sisters: Lillian and Inez.

 Mom lived on a farm and one of her favourite things to do was go out early in the morning and call in the cattle so she could feed them their breakfast.

So going back home for a visit with her son Kevin and daughter in law Sandra this year brought her great joy.

She loved going on vacations with her son Steve and daughter in law Dee and had many adventures together and spending time fishing with Kevin.

Our mother loved and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was thankful for the time she shared with her great granddaughter.
