Derrick Shawn McNeil, of Miramichi, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at the age of 53.
Born in Deep River, ON, he was the son of John McNeil and the late Patricia (MacDougall) McNeil.
He will be greatly missed by his father John McNeil and step mother Judy of Nelson-Miramichi; his children Maya McNeil and Samuel McNeil both of Miramichi; brother John McNeil (Lisa) of Miramichi; as well as three nieces Madelyn, Rachel, and Patricia; many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and too many friends to count.
Shawn was a light to those who knew him, with a quick wit and a helping hand. His story telling and shenanigans will be dearly missed.
