The death of Tanner Hawk Ward common-in-law partner of Treslyn Stevens of Metepenagiag First Nation occurred on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at the age of 29. Born in Newcastle, NB, he is the son of Talbert Isaac and Ronalda Ward. Tanner was a Peace Keeper and Fisheries Guardian. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing hockey. He was an avid New York Yankees Fan, Jeter # 2 being his favorite player. 

Besides his partner and parents, Tanner is survived by daughters: Faith Ward, Mila Ward, Sage Ward; son Vanek Gould all at home; sister: Mindy Isaac (Chance Whalen); Talbert Isaac Jr.; nieces: Talon, Kenzie and Tatum as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Tanner is predeceased by maternal grandparents: Everett & Mary Ward; paternal grandparents: Leonard & Josephine Isaac; brother: Tanner Cloud.
