The death of Mary Jessie (Timmons) Gallant, wife of Douglas Gallant of Boom Road, NB, occurred on Monday, June 10, 2024, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 81. Born in Inverness, NS, she was the daughter of the late Eddy and Mary (Finn) Timmons.

Besides her husband, Mary is survived by daughter: Brenda Kelly (Perry) of South Nelson, NB; sons: Darren Sherrard (Sherry) of Exmoor, NB, Dean Sherrard (Gina) of Brampton, ON; step daughters: Roxane Hallihan (Rodney) of Cains River, NB, Nancy Gallant (Ryan) of Middle Sackville, NS; step sons: Mervin Gallant (Debbie) of St. Albert, AB, Rod (Heather) of Stewiacke, NS, Roy Gallant (Leone) of Meaghers Grant, NS; grandchildren: Ethan, Emily, Kaitlin, Hedi, Miranda, Riley, KC, Elisabeth, Constance, Alyssa, Hailey; great grandchildren: Kristen, William, Ronin, Harlyn, Pacey, Milo; sisters: Edna McNeil (Jimmy), Kathleen Timmins, Jean MacDonald (Finnley); brothers: Donnie (Theresa), Ralph (Denise); as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she is predeceased by infant sister, Catherine.
