Barbara Ann Russell (Fleet), aged 78, born in Montreal, PQ, wife of the late Raymond J. Russell, passed away on Tuesday, September, 3, 2024, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital surrounded by family and friends.

Survived by son, Paul Cummings; one brother: Thomas Fleet (Sylvia) sister-in-law; two nephews: Scott Fleet ; wife(Joy Knight), Johnathan; one great niece: Madeleine.

Predeceased by husband and parents; one sister: Donna Fleet; one sister-in-law: Doreen Boniface.

She was a member of the N.B.V.M parish and CWL, and also volunteered at church and Chatham Head rec.

She also was a retired assistant credit manager (Univar), she loved children and was a guardian to many in her retirement years. Both she and husband Raymond loved to travel especially to Barbados, and met many friends all over the world. She enjoyed doing many different crafts, knitting, reading and puzzles and she was the queen of wordle.

Following the family's wishes, there will be no visitation. A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at a date and time to be announced.
