The death of Anna Elizabeth (Colford) Buckley, wife of the late Robert “Corey” Clarke Buckley of Miramichi, NB, occurred on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at the Miramichi Hospital at the age of 84. Born in Howard, NB, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Annie (Dunn) Colford. Anna retired from KFC where she worked for 35 years. She was a member of the St. Patrick’s CWL, enjoyed knitting and was a well-known volunteer in her community especially at the Chatham Head Rec Center.

Anna is survived by her children: Rose-Ann Parent (Stephane) of Ottawa, ON; Mary Buckley (Scott Whalen-Monette) of Miramichi, NB; Charles Buckley (Dana) of Calgary, AB; Kenneth “Ken” Buckley (Rhonda); Billy Buckley (Josette Martin) all of Miramichi, NB; siblings: Regina Colford of Miramichi, NB; Lauretta Colford (Evan) of Woodstock, NB; Ursula Hogan (Bernard) of Blackville, NB; John Colford (Cindy) of Doaktown, NB; Norman Colford (Bernice) of Miramichi, NB; sisters-in-law: Kathy Colford of Fredericton, NB; Lynn Colford of Howard, NB; grandchildren: Michael Votour, Miranda Buckley, Devon (Marissa) Buckley, Max Martin, Madison Buckley; great grandchildren: Nathan, Arielle, Corey, Ella, Maddox, Paislee, Micheal, Allyanna, Avalyn, Avery, Zaikiah as well as many nieces and nephews.
