The death of Alvin William Matchett, husband of Debbie (Freemantle) Matchett of Exmoor, NB, occurred on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at Percy’s Place at the age of 73. Born in Sevogle, NB, he was the son of the late Eldon and Mary (Daigle) Matchett.

Beside his wife, Alvin is survived by sons: Alvin Jr (Julie) of Hamilton, ON, Scott Anderson (Liz) of Brampton, ON, Timothy Matchett Anderson (Maria) of Hamilton, ON; 4 grandchildren; sisters: Frances Howe (Tom) of Whitbourne, NFLD, Pauline Matchett of NFLD, Shirley Hambrook (Paul) of Newcastle, NB, Angela Matchett of Calgary AB; brothers: Reggie of Whitbourne, NFLD, Gregory (Susan) of Exmoor, NB, Eric of the Philippines, Sydney (Linda) of Trout Brook, NB, Dougie (Janice) of Mississauga, ON, Leonard of Drumheller, AB; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he is predeceased by brothers: Ivan, Stephen, Dwight and Kenny; sister: Agnes Matchett.
