Alma Savoy

The death of Mary “Alma” (Russell) Savoy wife of the late Frank Savoy Sr., of Bridgeview Hall and formerly of Chatham Head, NB, occurred on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at the age of 95. Alma was the daughter of the late Frank and Marion (Murray) Russell. 

Alma is survived by her children: Melvin Savoie (Ada) of Chatham Head, NB; Frank Jr. Savoy (Darlene) of Hartland, NB; Carlene Killam (Brian) of Salisbury, NB; Anthony Savoie (Cheryl) of Edmonton, AB; Sylvia Miller (Stafford) of Hilltop, NB; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, Alma is predeceased by son: Norman Savoie; daughter: Jenny Monk; brother: Norman Russell and Edward Russell; sister: Melvina and infant siblings: Margaret, Anthony and Leo.

The family will receive visitors at Jardine Funeral Home on Monday, February 3, 2024, from 11-1pm. Funeral service will follow at 1 o’clock with Fr. John Beaumaster officiating. Burial will take place in the St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cemetery later in the spring.
