Video: Millerton School closes in 1988

Here is a great video from 1988 about the Millerton School on the last day it was open. Originally the Derby Superior School, it was open for 80 years. See teacher Dorothy Colepaugh and her students.

In 1998, the Milleron Elementary/Junior High School opened.  The also marked the closing of one of the oldest schools in the province.

The three-room Millerton Elementary School had been open since 1908, and taught the likes of KC Irving.  It was originally called Derby Superior School.
