Dr. Jennifer Russell says people are gathering when they should be staying home, and it could threaten the capacity of the public health system in New Brunswick. Higgs says this is not a drill
Dr. Jennifer Russell Chief Medical Officer of Health said today that she is still getting reports of people gathering in numbers and it is the wrong thing to do if we want to protect people’s health, and protect the capacity of the healthcare sysytem. She urged, more than once, for people to stay at home.
Premier Blaine Higgs also outlined some more specific measures to help people during the crisis, and also urged people to stop gathering. He reminded people this is not a drill, and everyone should gather only as families at home.
