VIDEO: 1970s firemen games in Newcastle

Home movies from the 60s and 70s show firemen having fun with water games in the square in Newcastle. There were clips of a parade so it can be presumed this is a Canada Day event.

Every year around this time people bring me old home movies they want to get digitized so they can share with their kids and grandkids.   This 3 minute clip is from a 8mm film reel likely in the 60’s or 70’s.  Other parts of the reel not seen here featured clips from a prade, so I am guessing this clip is from a Canada Day event.  The owner of the home movie agreed to share, but couldn’t offer any details about who was in it or when it was taken exactly.   Her father was a fireman.
