Natural Resources

18 June 2012

FREDERICTON (GNB) – Two of the public meetings on a potential expanded natural gas industry will be live-streamed, Natural Resources Minister Bruce Northrup announced today.

Those meetings will take place today, June 18, in Havelock and in Blackville on Monday, June 25. Live-streaming will be available from 6:30 p.m to 8:30 p.m. at www.nbtvtoday.com/live.

"I am pleased that we can provide all New Brunswickers a chance to see the proceedings live as there has been great interest in the proposed 116 recommendations to protect the environment should it be possible to expand the natural gas industry in our province," Northrup said.

Anyone wanting to send questions in advance of the event to be asked on the floor can email naturalgas@gnb.ca.
