Sykes Enterprises donates gaming equipment to Pediatrics Department

Miramichi- (December 7, 2011) - Pediatric patients at the Miramichi Regional Hospital now have the latest gaming and movie-watching equipment to help make their time at the hospital more enjoyable, thanks to donations from Sykes Enterprises Inc., which donated several items to the pediatric unit.

Sykes and its 300 Miramichi employees raised $1,000 through 50/50 draws, casual days and selling pizza, to purchase a high-end video game system, a portable DVD player, and a 32 inch LCD TV with a DVD player for the pediatric patients. The system will help pediatric patients take their mind off their illness and have a more enjoyable experience while at the hospital.
