Students attend legislature

Recently students from Miramichi Rural School were taken to Fredericton by teachers Adam Hayward and Lindsay Reid to visit the legislature.  The students were  from grade 6, 7 and 8 and visited the Legislative Assembly on Tuesday.   The students had a tour of the legislature and were introduced in the Assembly by their MLA, Bill Fraser.  They also observed the routine proceedings of the house business, including question period.  Great to see young people taking an interest in government.
