Police, neighbours and GMGSR locate missing man

Police and wife thankful to all who helped located a man who wandered away from home.

Miramichi Police got a call last night that a 73 year old man with Alzhiemers had wondered off from his Sutton Road residence.  Police began searching for Royce Clark around 8pm and with the help of neighbours and Miramichi Ground Search and Rescue he was located safely in a wooded area about 4 hours later.  He was treated in hospital.  The MPF issued a statement thanking those who participated in the search.  Clark's wife also expressed gratitude.
