The death of Mrs. Claudia Georgina Cain, wife of the late Sterling "Tooie" Cain of Boom Road, NB, occurred on Friday, June 24, 2011 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 67. Born in Halcomb, NB, she was the daughter of the late Percy and Annie (Foran) Johnstone. Claudia was a member of the Little Southwest Baptist Church, Sillikers, a hairdresser, caregiver and homemaker. She also volunteered at the Mental Health Association. 

Claudia is survived by: two daughters: Lisa Murphy (Johnny) of Boom Road, NB; Tammy Burns (David) of Miramichi, NB; two sisters: Joan Matthews (Wayne) of Nordin, NB; Faye Hamilton (Winfield) of Whitney, NB; two brothers: Paul Johnstone of Red Bank, NB; Jack Johnston of Moncton, NB; one grandson: Wade Murphy and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, Claudia is predeceased by: brother: Daryl and sister in laws: Margaret Johnstone and Peggy Johnston.

The family will receive visitors at Meadows Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from the Little Southwest Baptist Church, Sillikers on Wednesday at 2 PM with Pastor Raymond Pitcher officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

In Claudia's memory, donations may be made to the NB Diabetic Association or the Little Southwest Baptist Church Cemetery.
