Nelson Rural School gets "Gronked"

To a chorus of "Go Pats GO", Rob Gronkoski stepped into the Nelson Rural School Gym and with a broad smile  greeted fans both young and old, who had gathered to greet the towering record setting Tight end of the New England Patriots Footbell team. After a short introduction Gronkowski spoke of the many benefits of getting lots of excersize and also addressed the problem of Bullying and how it is a fact of life in schools and on the internet.

Gronkowski was accompanied by his new best friend Alex Allain who was the reason for his being there. Alex was the lucky winner of an annual contest sponsored by the National Football League called “Take a Player to School” . There were four winners across Canada an Alex was the winner for Atlantic Canada. Gronkowski stayed on at the school to take part in some gymnasium exercises. and signed a lot of autographs.

Miramichi Online was there and captured some of the excitment with this video.
