Miramichi Sports: Timberwolves Prepare For MHL Draft

The Miramichi Timberwolves are preparing for the annual MHL Draft this weekend in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. The Timberwolves are coming off a           12-36-2-2 season, one in which they finished in last place in the MHL. The upcoming draft is an all important one for the rebuilding Timberwolves. Miramichi heads in with 3 first round picks including 1st overall. They also hold the 5th and 7th picks and whether they keep them or move them for assets remains to be seen and also opens up many draft day scenarios. Presumably, other teams will look at 'trading up' in the draft order and Head Coach/GM Robert MacDonald will have a few offers thrown at him. Either way, this will set the Timberwolves up nicely for the upcoming season and for years to come.
