Miramichi Sports: Mariners Sail Away With Win - Piercy Under Fire

Tyler Piercy faced 44 Shots, including 21 in the second period, as the Yarmouth Mariners downed Miramichi 3-2 Saturday night. With the loss, the Timberwolves fall to 4-17-0-2, 8 points behind Campbellton in the Meek Division. Alex Scully and Bruce Hornbrook scored for the Timberwolves, who host Dieppe in a rare Wednesday game at the Civic Center.

MHL Note: The Amherst Ramblers (15-4-3-1) downed the Woodstock Slammers (24-1-0-1) 4-1 Saturday night in Amherst. This was the first regulation loss of the season for the Slammers.
