Miramichi Sports: Chatham Midget Ironmen Downed By Fredericton in Final

Miramichi Sports: The Fredericton Royals defeated the Chatham Ironmen by a score of 3-2 on  Sunday at Royals Field to earn their 3rd Provincial Championship in a row. Chatham came into the provincials ranked 5th while the Miramichi Cardinals were ranked 1st. The league awarded the individual awards at the league banquet on Friday night. Three locals were honored.

The Awards went to;

Jake Keating of Miramichi - Pitching Title Bobby Allain of Miramichi - Coach of the Year Bill Gaston of Chatham - Sportsman of the Year
