Miramichi News: Back by popular demand,Miramichi to get" All Shook Up Elvis style"
The tribute to Elvis that everyone's talking about featuring" Winner of the World's largest International Elvis tribute artist contest "Thane Dunn and the Cadillac Kings will be performing Elvis on Tour Sat Oct 22nd.
Last February at the James M.Hill Auditorium Thane Dunn showed the capacity crowd just why he was crowned World Champion.Electricity was in the air and a great time was had by all.Lots of ladies came up for scarves, everybody sang along with their favorite Elvis songs and it was a real thrill for Dunn because his favorite cousin and Miramichier Kevin Dunn was in attendance. We had such a great time and I recieved so many e mails asking when we were coming back so were really excited about returning.
In the past ten years Thane Dunn has become widely known as one of the best in the world of Elvis tributes. He has been called the complete Elvis package, from the looks, voice, moves and his incredible stage presence, along with all this hes been gifted with that same off the wall Presley sense of humor and is a fan favorite even among die hard Elvis fans. His tribute to Elvis is so convincing that many people who actually saw Elvis in concert have commented it was like seeing him all over again. There are no wigs, glued on sideburns here.Everythings as real as it gets.Even his stage costumes are exact replica's of the jumpsuits popularised by Elvis in the early 70"s.You'll see new costumes on the 22nd including a brand new Powder blue jumpsuit that's the very same as the one Elvis wore in the 1972 documentary Elvis on Tour.
The new show contains all your favorites from Love Me Tender to Suspicious minds plus new songs. We never do the same show twice ,say's Dunn and it's important to us that people know that.
Tickets are available at The Goodie Shop and Bill's Quickway so mark Oct 22nd on your calendar, this is the Elvis tribute that delivers the full Elvis package for young and old alike.
