Miramichi News: Halfmile Mine getting set to open "in a few weeks"

BATHURST - ( NB Business Journal) Production at Halfmile Mine near Bathurst is expected to begin within the next few weeks.

The mine, which will have a production rate of 2,000 tonnes per day, currently has about 70 employees on site. Donald Hammond, general manager of Enterprise Chaleur, said the launch of the mine will create much-needed economic activity for the region. Click here to read more...
