Miramichi Artist: Heather Siddall

Here at MO))), we love to promote Miramichi's creative spirit. If you know someone who is uber-talented, and needs to be on our site, drop us a line, and we'll get them on.

Heather Siddall is a friend of mine, and she never ceases to surprise me with her talents. She has a nonchalantness (is that a word?) about her abilities, and is always striving to learn new things. This is what Heather says about herself...

At the age of 32, working as a haircolor specialist, for the last 13 years; now at "Glamour."

Heather is the Third Daughter of Bob and Donna Siddall, Born May 20,1979, in the Miramichi.

"I've always loved color and crafts. I remember saving all the pieces I might need for the next Mr. Dressup show. I would frequently enter coloring contest and win, and all threw school I was chosen to represent for my distract, the highlight of that being able to to spend a week at "Mount Allison" in the fine art department."

"The painter I've always admired is "Vincent Van Gough." I love the story of Vincent and also the "Don Mclean" song about Vincent "Starry starry Night."

"All through school I was fortunate to have very skilled Artist as teachers of Art. Linda Gallent, Glen Hall and Bob Foster. In 2007, I sought out lessons from a wonderful Artist "Terry Matthews", and since then, painting has become more joyful for me."

"Recently I was asked to produce Art for "Relish" Miramichi, and have just finished the second painting for them to be hung there very soon."

"In 2007 I began taking Photography and Photoshop lessons at NBCC and at L5 Media.

I've since been involved in the taking of family and wedding photos. I also enjoy painting photos I've taken as Art."

"This year I've become a member of the Miramichi Art Core and right now I have paintings for sale at the "Ritchie Warf Gallery" until Sept 7 2011."

I can feel intereste growing for my art, and it makes me want to paint more and gain more knowledge about my craft. [gallery link="file" columns="4" orderby="rand"]
