Miramichi Legion Branch #10 will be hosting our Senior Military Veterans for an annual appreciation dinner at the Branch on Veterans Lane at 4:30pm Saturday 31 May 2014.
W W II Veterans in attendance will add a significance to this event as it is the 70th Anniversary of the D-Day Landing, the dinner will also commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the start of W W I.
This is an annual event to show our appreciation to Senior Long Serving Military Veterans of the Branch. This year’s event will be hosted by our Past President Comrade Peter Murphy. Roast beef and all the trimmings are on the menu. Several distinguished local and provincial community leaders have been invited to attend and show their appreciation. Speakers at the dinner will include Lieutenant Colonel Steve Bass CD, Commanding Officer of the newly re-named North Shore (New Brunswick) Regiment.
