May 16th, MPF invites public to tour facility and take part in some demonstrations during police week.
Canada’s annual Police Week is always recognized during the second week of May. In conjunction with this National event, the Miramichi Police Force has made plans for a number of activities.
Our major event of the week will be held on Wednesday May 16th at Police Head Quarters at 1820 Water Street.
1:30pm-3:30pm…… Open House complete with vehicle & equipment displays & office tours
These displays will consist of vehicles and equipment from several enforcement agencies. The MPF will be joined by the Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Sheriff’s Officers, Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Officer`s , Off Road Vehicle Enforcement Officer`s, Public Safety Officer`s and Conservation Officer’s who will all be gathered together to meet the public, show them their vehicles and equipment and to answer questions. Miramichi Ground Search and Rescue will also have displays set up.

3:00pm Tactical Team Display
We would like to invite everyone to stop by Police Head Quarters on this day to view these displays and to be offered a guided tour of our facilities. This event will be held rain or shine. This will be a great opportunity to see current police & public safety equipment, to meet many officers and staff, and to view as to what these agencies offer as emergency and public services.
