Electrical blackout for parts of Newcastle tomorrow

Some Newcastle businesses have been advised that tomorrow morning between 9 and 12, they will not have any power. The construction crew working on the new liquor store building on Pleasant Street needs to disconnect the power for up to three hours, and has advised businesses of the pending outage.

We are not sure of all the businesses that will be affected, but they include the Irving, the liquor store, Mobile Equipment and the Salvation Army.

If you are doing business downtown tomorrow morning, it might be a good idea to call ahead.
