If you are old enough to remember the fine photos that used to appear in the local paper in the 1970's chances are most of them were taken by Edward O'Reilly. Photography really is a lost art, or maybe it's just the way newspapers are printed these days, but the photos in them just don't look as nice. Not as rich, not as much contrast. Something is off.

O'Reilly discovered the website started by a group a sports photo enthusiasts, and has begun scanning some of his old negatives and donating the pictures to the group. If you visit the groups website, the lastest photos have all been contributed by O'Reilly. You can see his name in the corner of them.

The group does its best to identify the people in the photos, and sell prints for a few dollars each. They aren't going to get rich, and only hope they can help people find some pictures of family members or friends or old teammates.

The men that manage the site are David Rogers, Don Ross, Joe Breen, Greg Morris and Brian McCarthy.
