Dorinda Hayes, wife of the late Wilson Hayes of Renous, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the age of 78.
Born in Minto, NB, she was the daughter of the late Malcolm and Jane (Hebert) LeBlanc. She was a cook at Kingsway Restaurant, a member of St. Bridgetâ€™s Roman Catholic Church and a member of White Rapids CWL.
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Brideau (Late Tony) of Trout Brook, Elizabeth Normand (John) of Renous, Judy Furlong (Clarence) of Renous and Deborah Marie Brophy (Derrick) of British Columbia; her sisters, Jeanette, Theresa, Jermaine, Carmelita and Mary May; her brothers, Donnie, Roger, Harold and David; her grandchildren, Allan, Kyle, Adam and Frank; two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband Wilson, sister Rose Mary and brothers Robert and Lawrence.
Dorinda Hayes is resting at St. Bridgetâ€™s Roman Catholic Church, Renous with visitation on Wednesday from 4-8. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 am at St. Bridgetâ€™s Roman Catholic Church, Renous with Father Dan Bastarashe Officiating. Burial will be in the family plot of the Church Cemetery later in the spring.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions Masks and Social Distancing are mandatory.
In her memory, donations to Miramichi SPCA or a memorial of oneâ€™s choice would be appreciated by the family.
