Coast Guard uses hovercraft to break ice in Neguac (photos)

The DFO delayed the opening of Lobster season in the Miramichi region because or persisting ice conditions. They planned to re-evaluate it on Friday.

No word on the re-evaluation, but the Coast Guard was in Neguac today with their impressive hovercraft breaking ice. Thanks to Rick Dedam for the photos.
