Clayton Mark Stewart, husband of Helen Cormier-Stewart of Cain Point Road, Tabusintac NB, passed away Wednesday evening at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 81.
Born in Cains Point, Tabusintac NB, he was the son of the late Leonard Clayton and Ruby Jane (Bell) Stewart.
He was retired from DNR Forest Ranger and Fisherman. He was a member of Saint Andrewâ€™s United Church, Tabusintac, Northumberland Lodge # 17 F & AM, Prince Chapter 27 Order of Eastern Star.
Besides his wife Helen, he is survived by four daughters, Ann Hale (John) of Fredericton, Kathy Grattan (Danny) of Woodstock, Shauna MacNeill (Kevin) of Saint John and Erin McCroskey (Doug) of California, one son Jason (Lorianne) of Tabusintac, one step daughter Chantal Cassie, three sisters, Gertrude Hennigar of Hudson Hope BC, Lois (David McKeil) of Tide Head and Marion Witt (Gerd) of Saskatoon, 8 grandchildren, Sean, Katherine, Emily, Damie, Craig, Claire, Paige and Cameron, step granddaughter Amanda, step grandson Chris and one great grandson Oscar.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife Shirley Walker.
Clayton Mark Stewart is resting at Saint Andrewâ€™s United Church, Tabusintac, with visitation on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9.
The Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Saint Andrewâ€™s United Church, Tabusintac, with Reverend Gerald Blaquiere officiating.
Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
Please Note members of Northumberland Lodge # 17 F and AM are asked to assemble Friday at 6:30pm at Saint Andrewâ€™s United Church Tabusintac for a Masonic Service.
Members of Miramichi Order Eastern Star # 44 are asked to meet at Saint Andrewâ€™s United Church, Tabusintac on Saturday at 1:30pm for a service.
