Chronic Pain workshop on Tuesday

The Arthritis Society is offering free presentations in the Miramichi, Bathurst, Campbellton and Dalhousie areas. These programs are an opportunity to better manage arthritis, while providing tips and tricks for joint protection.

On Tuesday, July 30, a Chronic Pain Management Workshop takes place at 10:30 a.m. at the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home, 1400 Lower Water Street. Later that day, The Society presents “Understanding Arthritis – Tips & Tricks for Protecting Your Joints” at 3 p.m. at the Newcastle Public Library (conference room), 100 Fountain Head Lane, Miramichi.

The Arthritis Society is Canada’s principal health charity, empowering the more than four million Canadians with arthritis to live their lives to the fullest by combating the effects of arthritis. Over the last 65 years, The Society has invested more than $170 million in arthritis research to develop better treatments and ultimately find a cure. In New Brunswick alone, 125,000 people are currently battling arthritis, making it one of New Brunswick’s most common chronic conditions.
