Chatham Ironmen finish 1st in division

The Chatham Senior Ironmen will play for a medal at the 2012 Senior Baseball Championship in Prince George, British Columbia. The Ironmen lost their final preliminary round game to British Columbia 6-3, but have won their pool and advanced to the semi-final round tomorrow. Robbie Murphy suffered the loss giving up 4 runs in 4.1 innings. Murphy gave up 8 hits and 3 walks and recorded 2 strikeouts. The Ironmen, and their to be determined opponent, will clash tomorrow afternoon with the Bronze and Gold medal games to follow.
