National Academy of Canada’s Outstanding Principals creates a learning community of outstanding principals across Canada who can share professionally, interact collegially and act as mentors to new colleagues. It provides avenues for research and sharing of best practices. As part of this Academy, these leading principals continue their development through an online forum with professionally facilitated modules.

Yesterday in Toronto, Beth McCarthy, Principal of Ian Baillie Primary School was on of the recipients of the award. She also attended 5 day leadership training program at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
