Audio: Fire destroys Loggieville home

A fire on Thursday night destroyed a home in Loggieville. Listen to emergency crews responding to the fire.

A home at 4134 Water Street was completely destroyed by fire late Thursday night.  Miramichi 911 dispatchers alerted fire crews of the blaze.  Flames were visible from neighbouring houses.  By the time the crews arrived, the home was fully engulfed and was described to en route firemen as a defensive fire only.  The home was occupied, but the owner was not home at the time.

Below are photos of the destroyed property, and a recording from the scanner of the response to the fire.  The scanner recording is a condensed version of all scanner activity during the time fire crews were responding to the fire. for reference, Station 1 is Newcastle, Station 2 is Chatham, and Station 3 is Loggieville
