"ALERT": Attempted Child Abduction On Sweeney Lane

I received this email as part of a thread, thought everyone should know!

" Hi Everyone,

We want EVERYONE to be on alert!!!!!! There was an attempted child

abduction on

Sweeney Lane (Miramichi) at 5:30PM last night!!!!! He was a male ...

driving an off-red or burgundy colored jeep-like SUV which had a black tire

on back of vehicle which had JEEP written on it. It may have been another

model such as a Honda CRV. He may have had a conservation plate. He

approached a five year old boy whom was accompanied by two ten year olds.

He offered the five year old to hold and pet the small white dog (with brown

markings) which was in the vehicle with him; he offered candy, and also, he

offered to take the young boy for a drive to his home to see his fish. He

was described as as medium-dark skinned man, aged 20-30. He was described to

have dark, curly and short hair, wearing a dark baseball cap. He was

described to have an accent which was the children believe to be neither

English or French. When one of the older children yelled "No!", he sped

off."

are investigating.
