Early this morning MPF officers, Miramichi Fire crews and Ambulance NB Paramedics responded to a single vehicle accident which had occurred at the intersection of Brook St and McKinnon Rd.
A 2007 Mazda had left the road and had struck a hydro pole causing the pole and tress to fall across the roadway.
The vehicle was occupied by two 15 year old females, a 20 year old male and an 18 year old male. All occupants received serious injuries.
A MPF accident reconstructionist is investigating the cause of this accident. Further details will be released as this investigation continues.
NP Power crews attended to disconnect the power lines. McKinnon Rd was closed to all traffic for 3hrs.
