Mr. William Elliott (Bill) Warren, husband of Dorothy (Coughlan) Warren of Colonial Drive, Blackville, passed away Friday August 7, 2009 at Moncton City Hospital, at the age of 81. Born in Barnettville NB, he was the son of the late William and Charlotte (Jardine) Warren. He was a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church. William was employed as a welder at Bowater Pulp and Paper Mill in Dalhousie for many years and moved to Blackville upon retirement. He loved hunting, fishing and working on his farm. His greatest joy in recent years was his great grandchildren Will and Cole. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Besides his wife Dorothy he is survived by one daughter; Bonnie Beswarick (Harold) of Campbellton; three grandchildren; April Eardley (Mitch, Amy Beswarick (Nick McCarthy) and Ryan Beswarick; two great grandchildren; Cole and William Eardley. Besides his parents he was predeceased by three brothers, Roy, Milton and Vernon Warren, one sister, Joan Desroisers.
At the request of the family there will be no visitation. The Funeral Service will be held Monday August 10, 2009, at 3 p.m. from Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Blackville, with Father Douglas Barrett officiating. Burial will follow in St Agnes Anglican Cemetery, Gray Rapids. At the request of the family donations to NB Heart & Stroke Foundation, Holy Trinity Anglican Church or a memorial of ones choice would be appreciated.
