Malcolm Victor Betts - February 26 2016

Mr. Malcolm Victor Betts, husband of Elizabeth (Manuel) Betts of Robertson Brook Road, Brantville NB, passed away Friday February 26, 2016 at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 66.

Born in Doaktown NB, he was the son of the late Malcolm and Annie (Holmes) Betts. He was retired from the Canadian Forces (Fire Fighter). He was a member of the Baptist Church, member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 47. He was a veteran of the Cold War Peace Keepers, he served in Cyprus, Goland Heights and Germany, he also sailed on the Ottawa.

Besides his wife Elizabeth, he is survived by two daughters; Kimberly Betts of Tracadie Beach and Tracy Weaver of Brockville ON, two sons; Malcolm Nathan Betts of Brantville and Shawn Stewart Betts (Felicia Betts) of Oromocto, four sisters; Alta Betts of Moncton, Doreen Laking of Calgary, Sheila Castle of Sheffield, Linda Beek of Doaktown, four brothers; Larry, Rick, Hughie and Magnus and 10 grandchildren.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by two brothers Edgar and Ivan and one sister Alice.

Mr. Malcolm Victor Betts is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, with visitation on Sunday February 28, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. A memorial Service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 47, Tabusintac, at 2pm Thursday March 3, 2016.
